Coastal Thai has the best Thai food I have ever eaten and I can compare it with more than 10 Thai restaurants in southeastern Michigan. The restaurant was very clean, the help very pleasant, the service quick and the portions appropriate.
I recently visited Coastal Thai in Wyandotte on a work trip, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the sweet and sour entrée, and it was absolutely delicious. The balance of tangy and savory flavors was spot-on, and the fresh veggies added the perfect crunch. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and fast. I loved how the staff took the time to make sure everything was just right. Whether you're a Thai food lover or just looking for something flavorful and satisfying, this spot is a must-try. I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was outstanding, parking was WAY easier than I expected and the menu is expansive. I was hanging out with a friend and we never felt hustled or hurried - big points there! The food portions were super generous and very fresh. I brought the leftovers back to my hotel room because I couldn't finish in one sitting. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, truly enjoyed the experience.
This restaurant is one of our favorite places to have dinner, great Thai food! Husband and I both ordered a noodle dish and we ordered fried dumplings with side sauce to start with, very tasty. Dinners came in no time, steaming hot! I ordered Pad Thai Curry and it had a large amount of shrimp in it, it was delicious. Hub ordered Vonsen noodles with beef and a side of white rice, he ate it all and enjoyed it. Our waitress took good care of us and made sure our water glasses were always filled. Prices are reasonable for the large portions they give you, I had to take some of mine home. Clean, attractive looking place, nice decor, and the staff are all so nice and friendly. Coastal Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in the southeast Michigan area. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the dining area provides a very nice ambiance.
